Nike Football approached Academy to help spread the word that they were selected to supply the NFL with jerseys that featured new, lightweight fibre technology that gave athletes an edge on the field.
The most challenging part of this project was trying to communicate speed and also highlight their lightweight technology with just the handful of still images that Nike provided. With only a few days and an extremely limited budget we set out to convey explosiveness and quickness in a simple way using light, layering, and subtle character animation.
